Sunday Poem

I have a wonderful book of old religious poetry and I decided that on Sundays, I will share some of the poems with you!  I think these poems do a wonderful job of praising my best friend, our LORD JESUS CHRIST *Praise Him*!

"Hellfire" by James P. Martin

My sins on earth have hurt my God *Praise Him* (note: *Praise Him* added by me)
And now they do hurt me.
I sit inside a pit of fire
I run but cannot flee.

I burn in Hell for sins I did,
Which I did not repent
Because of this I am down here
To heaven I didn't assent.

And this fire it shall never end
My flesh will always burn
A second chance to please my Lord *Praise Him* (note: *Praise Him* added by me)
For this I'll always yearn.

God *Praise Him* bless you all in this wonderful season of Advent!

Someday I'll See His *Praise Him* Face,

Advent

Soon we will celebrate the birth of the greatest gift that the world has ever known.  Of course I am talking about

JESUS CHRIST *PRAISE HIM*!

I get giddy with happiness when I imagine how wonderful Jesus *Praise Him* really is, and that one day He *Praise Him* came down to earth as just a teeny tiny helpless baby, cradled in His *Praise Him* mother's arms.

In our family, my Husband Joseph has some very firm ideas about Christmas, and I agree with him on all counts.  There are no pagan Christmas trees for our family.  There are no brightly colored lights and gaily wrapped gifts or wooden soldiers or gingerbread houses or visits with Santa Claus.

When you really stop to think about it, I think that Santa Claus is a tool of the devil.  Just think of it this way, the children are encouraged to go to him and ask for all kinds of things, everything they can imagine wanting.  As long as their behavior matches what this man in a red suit says is good, they will be rewarded.  WHAT??  The only reward is an eternity in HEAVEN and the only one who can judge all of us is GOD THE FATHER *Praise Him*

In the weeks of Advent, the time before Christmas for you non-believers (and please know I pray ESPECIALLY FOR YOU!!) we remove all decorations from our home.  Family pictures, paintings, vases, children's artwork, candles, clocks... everything.  The house is very empty and grey and unhappy.  This is how the world was before JESUS *Praise Him*!  We lived in a world with no hope of eternal glory!  Why celebrate that with glowing trees and candy canes?  I just will NEVER understand.

On Christmas morning my children come down and all of our decor has been replaced.  We also string lights across our living room and in the Table of God *Praise Him* hallway.  We have a special breakfast and talk about how lucky we are that God *Praise Him* sent Jesus *Praise Him* to us!  Then we go to Mass and celebrate the day.  The children are allowed to stay up late as we discuss the birth of Jesus *Praise Him* late into the night.  It is truly a joyous and celebratory day for all of us!  HOW LUCKY WE ARE!!

Please know how much God *Praise Him* loves each and every part of you!

As Always,
Kneeling in Awe of Him *Praise Him*,
Mary Agnes

Wonderful Gift from Our Savior *Praise Him*!

Jesus *Praise Him* took me by the hand today and looked into my eyes.

"Mary Agnes," He *Praise Him* said, looking at me warmly with his eyes filled with the answers to all the world's mysteries.  "I *Praise Him* need to introduce you to a new friend, Grace."

And so Jesus *Praise Him* sat me at the computer and typed on the keys and I met my new great friend, a young girl named Grace.

Thank you Jesus! *Praise Him*  You *Praise Him* bring me so much joy!

I am still learning and loving on Grace, but God *Praise Him* told me that she was special.  She is the typical girl, disobeying her parents but trying to

WALK THE PATH OF THE CROSS...

And I must help her in her mission.

This is what the Lord *Praise Him* REVEALED TO ME.

Grace, I am praying for you, the rosary for nine glorious days.  My three oldest children and I will dirty our knees in the gunk of your sins and offer up praise and glory to the only one who matters, our Lord *Praise Him* and Savior *Praise Him* Jesus Christ! *Praise Him*

I love you, Grace!  I love you and your parents and Samuel and Saul and Ginger and Solomon and Gabrielle and Galya and Geena and Genesis and Gessica and our Sweet Sweet Sean.  I love you all.  I love you!

Your New True Friend in His Thorny Crown,
Mary Agnes

A spell CAST ASIDE

I am happy to report that the evil spell cast on me by SATAN HIMSELF has been expunged!  Through the efforts of my Dear Husband Joseph and our local Priest (who has asked modestly to be anonymous, bless his heart), and most of all through the power of God *Praise Him* who I love so much, I am back and feeling much more like myself and ready again to take up the reins and whip for my best friend Jesus *Praise Him* and help others learn how much He *Praise Him* loves them!

I am so grateful and all glory goes to my Father *Praise Him* my Lord *Praise Him* and the Holy Spirit *Praise Him*

THANK YOU JESUS! *PRAISE HIM*!

The old blog is the old me.

http://bathedinhisblood.blogspot.com/

I have grown so much as a follower of the Cross since then!
I will soon bring a new follower into the World.
I recovered from my BATTLE WITH SATAN and God *Praise Him* prevailed over the forces of darkness!!
We also got a puppy.
